1st Ever Fall Craft Show

Our fall show is featuring homemade items along with repurposed items & also vintage items that have been given new life with Dixie Belle Chalk Paints. 

In these first two photos is a quick overview of 3 different types of items that will be at our open house - a vintage porch spindle cut down to make a quick accent piece, vintage chenille quilt - dyed & sew into a cute pumpkin, handmade fabric pumpkins, crocheted pumpkin garland and a vintage serving tray painted with Dixie Belle's Manatee Gray chalk paint.

This first garland is so adorable & is the only one we have featuring crocheted mini ghosts & mini pumpkins - it is a 4ft long garland.  The pumpkins & ghosts can be slid around to create the perfect look!  $16.00

This garland features crocheted medium sized pumpkins in white, tan & orange.  It is the only one we have with these 3 colors.  It measures 5ft 6in long.  The pumpkins can be slid around to create that perfect look!  $16.00

Our final garland is crocheted med sized pumpkins in reddish color, tan, & orange.  It is the only one we have.  It measures 7ft long.  Again the pumpkins can be slid to create the perfect look. $16.00

These next 3 pictures are of the LARGE chenille pumpkins.  They are made from a vintage chenille bedspread that was hand-dyed & then hand sewn to create these cute & unique pumpkins.  Each pumpkin has a vintage button & trim to complete them.  They are roughly 5 1/2" in size, but each are slightly different due to being handmade.  Use the 1st picture below & specify back, middle or front row & color of pumpkin when ordering.  $7.50 each

The below picture is of the smaller chenille pumpkins - all having the same features as the large just in a 4" size.  These are the only ones we currently have available - be specific on the white ones if you order one of those. $5.00 each

The next several pictures are of the handmade fabric pumpkins.  There are 3 sizes - large - 4 1/2", medium - 3" & small - 2 1/2".  These are approximate sizes as each could vary due to being hand sewn.

These crocheted acorns make great bowl fillers or just look cute scattered on a tray.  They come in 2 sizes  - large (4 available) $2.00 each & small (11 available) $1.50 each

There are 3 sizes of yarn pumpkins available, large (4') are shown in the back row, medium (3') in the middle row & small (2') in the front row.

Here's an up-close picture for size comparison.

I salvaged an old porch railing from a house down in Bryn Mawr this summer.  Part I've used as a decoration on my front porch. The rest I had my husband cut down to small sizes to use as an accent in my decorating.  I have six more available (I have one featured in the 1st photo) - they are $2.50 each. Their heights are - one at 9", one at 8 1/2", two at 8 1/4" (one wide & one skinny), one at 8" & one at 7".

This is a vintage spindle I decided to chalk paint with Dixie Belle's Kudzu - it sits 10" tall at it's highest point - $4.50

I've enjoyed making bead garlands to drape around for different seasons.  There are six available for the fall show.  2 are shown with a duck egg blue bead accent, 2 with a pumpkin orange bead accent  - ORANGE BEAD WITH BLESSED TAG HAS SOLD  & 2 with the kudzu green bead accent.  They measure between 34" & 36" long - that is from the tip of the tassel to the end of the tag.  Bead lengths are 29" - 31".  The garlands are $12.00 each - be color & tag specific when ordering.

I've enjoyed finding vintage trays to give new life with chalk paint.  The one that has been a few pictures is featured below it is straight out of the 70's.  It has been chalk painted using Dixie Belle's Manatee Gray, distressed and sealed with Dixie Belle's best dang clear & brown waxes on top.  It is not suitable for food use (as it's not been sealed with a water proof sealer) - decoration only.  It has it's original hardware on it.  It measure 16" x 10" (at widest point)  with hardware it measures 18" long.  It is the only one of this style & color - $25.00.
