Below are the unique banks made from the old post office boxes.  They make a great gift for anyone, but especially the guys!  Thinking ahead to Christmas gifts!

There are only2 banks available at $49.00 each. 1 has sold!

These earrings & necklaces make great gifts and are always a fun topic - made from vintage silverware!  Earrings are $12.00 and the necklaces are $5.00.

The above necklaces are made from vintage forks and are $5.00 each.  Also pictured are matchstick holders - great for lighting candles with burning your fingers!  The are made from vintage silverware also and are $5.00 each.

I love these boxes made from vintage shutters!!  I have 2 available for the fall show, each picture shows them in a slightly different way.  I explain below each picture what you're seeing and then at the end of all the pictures I explain the pricing.

The above below picture show the box fully decorated for a fall centerpiece.  The below picture shows a from the top view of the box.  It will come with all that is pictured for $45.00.

The next 4 pictures show that basic box with it's insert to make it easier to decorate for each season.  There are a couple pictures later on that show it with clay pots in it.  You would remove the insert to be able to use it as a planter.  If you only wanted the basic box & insert with no decorations it is $30.00

Front view & back view are the same

Top view with no insert inside

Top view showing the insert in it.  The 2 holes are for you fingers to make it easy to insert & remove the "platform".

This is what the platform/insert looks like - it is quite sturdy to be able support your decoration choice.

The next 2 pictures are of the base decorations & how easily you can take the shutter box from Fall to Christmas without having to change much.  On the platform is a piece of burlap layered on top of that is a pine garland and then a strand of battery operated fairy lights.  With the insert you can store you fall decorations underneath while it is decorated for Christmas!

Front & back views are the same

Top view of the base decorations ready to change over to Christmas.

Now decorated for Christmas with vintage ornaments & couple different winter sprigs tucked here & there.

Top view along with a little closer view of the top of the box below.

Here are 2 more ways to use the box - the one shows how I used my own shutter box for our daughter's graduation party filled with the clay pots & flowers.

Each box is 35" long 8" tall/deep and 7" wide. If you are going to use clay pots you will need a 5"-6.5" clay pot (not included).  Half gallon sized mason jars fit well inside the box to be able to fill with fresh cut flowers in the summer or a lovely fall floral display, plant some herbs in you pots - the possibilities are almost endless!

There in only 1 box available now 1 HAS SOLD.  There are different ways to purchase the one that is left.

1.  Box & Insert only for $30.00
2. Box, insert & fully decorated for fall - $45.00
3. Box, insert, fully decorated for fall & all the decorations shown to change it over for Christmas (9 vintage ornaments & some winter sprigs) for $52.00

Today was a full day, so just a quick post with some crocheted pumpkins & succulents done by Heather!  One raised wooden tray that is chalk painted is a cute addition to any tabletop.

Just showing a few ways to decorate with the many different pumpkins, garlands & trays we have available.

These 3 pumpkins pictured above are the largest crocheted pumpkins we have available - they have cinnamon sticks for stems.  $6.00 each

Pictured above the only 2 medium sized crocheted pumpkins - $4.50 each

These 5 pumpkins are the small sized pumpkins and are $2.00 each.

This raised wooden tray is painted with Dixie Belle's Antebellum Blue, distressed and then sealed with their best dang clear & brown waxes.  It is made of maple and is a 12" square.  The feet are painted with D.B.'s Coffee Bean and sealed with their wax.  I have one other tray exactly like this in different colors which will be posted tomorrow.  This is the only one I have done in the blue & brown combo.  It is $22.00.

Our fall show is featuring homemade items along with repurposed items & also vintage items that have been given new life with Dixie Belle Chalk Paints.

In these first two photos is a quick overview of 3 different types of items that will be at our open house - a vintage porch spindle cut down to make a quick accent piece, vintage chenille quilt - dyed & sew into a cute pumpkin, handmade fabric pumpkins, crocheted pumpkin garland and a vintage serving tray painted with Dixie Belle's Manatee Gray chalk paint.

A variety of fabric pumpkins - hand sewn

This first garland is so adorable & is the only one we have featuring crocheted mini ghosts & mini pumpkins - it is a 4ft long garland.  The pumpkins & ghosts can be slid around to create the perfect look!  $16.00

This garland features crocheted medium sized pumpkins in white, tan & orange.  It is the only one we have with these 3 colors.  It measures 5ft 6in long.  The pumpkins can be slid around to create that perfect look!  $16.00

Our final garland is crocheted med sized pumpkins in reddish color, tan, & orange.  It is the only one we have.  It measures 7ft long.  Again the pumpkins can be slid to create the perfect look. $16.00

These next 3 pictures are of the LARGE chenille pumpkins.  They are made from a vintage chenille bedspread that was hand-dyed & then hand sewn to create these cute & unique pumpkins.  Each pumpkin has a vintage button & trim to complete them.  They are roughly 5 1/2" in size, but each are slightly different due to being handmade.  Use the 1st picture below & specify back, middle or front row & color of pumpkin when ordering.  $7.50 each

The below picture is of the smaller chenille pumpkins - all having the same features as the large just in a 4" size.  These are the only ones we currently have available - be specific on the white ones if you order one of those. $5.00 each

These 3 pumpkins below are made wool - the larger one is $5.00 & the 2 small ones are $3.50 each

The next several pictures are of the handmade fabric pumpkins.  There are 3 sizes - large - 4 1/2", medium - 3" & small - 2 1/2".  These are approximate sizes as each could vary due to being hand sewn.

Above are the 5 large fabric pumpkins - $5.00 each

Above are the 8 medium fabric pumpkins - $4.00 each

Above are the small fabric pumpkins - for the doubles specify back or middle rows - $3.00 each

These 2 photos show size comparison & the tops of the pumpkins - each have a stick for a stem!

Above photo - Set of 4 Fall Wood Blocks - $10.00 - sit 4" high (not measuring stems_

Up close of the ghost & pumpkin garland, crocheted acorns

The above photo features the crocheted acorns, bead garland, yarn pumpkin, & chalk painted spindle

Large Acorns - 4 available - $2.00 each

Small Acorns - 11 available - $1.50 each

There are 3 sizes (see below) of the yarn wrapped pumpkins seen here & only one of the Dixie Belle chalk painted kudzu green spindle shown here.

These crocheted acorns make great bowl fillers or just look cute scattered on a tray.  They come in 2 sizes  - large (4 available) $2.00 each & small (11 available) $1.50 each

There are 3 sizes of yarn pumpkins available, large (4') are shown in the back row, medium (3') in the middle row & small (2') in the front row.

There are 4 of each size.  Large - $4.00 each, Medium - $3.00 each & Small - $2.00 each

Here's an up-close picture for size comparison.

I salvaged an old porch railing from a house down in Bryn Mawr this summer.  Part I've used as a decoration on my front porch. The rest I had my husband cut down to small sizes to use as an accent in my decorating.  I have six more available (I have one featured in the 1st photo) - they are $2.50 each. Their heights are - one at 9", one at 8 1/2", two at 8 1/4" (one wide & one skinny), one at 8" & one at 7".

This is a vintage spindle I decided to chalk paint with Dixie Belle's Kudzu - it sits 10" tall at it's highest point - $4.50

I've enjoyed making bead garlands to drape around for different seasons.  There are six available for the fall show.  2 are shown with a duck egg blue bead accent, 2 with a pumpkin orange bead accent  - ORANGE BEAD WITH BLESSED TAG HAS SOLD  & 2 with the kudzu green bead accent.  They measure between 34" & 36" long - that is from the tip of the tassel to the end of the tag.  Bead lengths are 29" - 31".  The garlands are $12.00 each - be color & tag specific when ordering.

The orange bead garland with the blessed tag has SOLD!

I've enjoyed finding vintage trays to give new life with chalk paint.  The one that has been a few pictures is featured below it is straight out of the 70's.  It has been chalk painted using Dixie Belle's Manatee Gray, distressed and sealed with Dixie Belle's best dang clear & brown waxes on top.  It is not suitable for food use (as it's not been sealed with a water proof sealer) - decoration only.  It has it's original hardware on it.  It measure 16" x 10" (at widest point)  with hardware it measures 18" long.  It is the only one of this style & color - $25.00.

Be sure to email Laura at lauraem@verizon.net with any items you want set aside for Saturday pick up!  Items tend to go fast that are one of a kind.  Be sure to be specific.

Check back later today as I hope to post some more & each day until the show.  The last posting will be clearly marked.  Can't wait to see you Saturday, October 16th at 1215 Brinton Circle, West Chester, PA for our 1st Fall Open House!!
